San Francisco BurgerMeister Review

24 Apr

I visited San Francisco for the second time EVER just a few weeks ago. The first time I went was a very brief visit, I wrote about it here. This time I stayed for 4 days and really got to explore this beautiful city by the sea!We road tripped it from Los Angeles to San Francisco with one of our good friends, Jon. He’s been Kyle’s friend since kindergarten and I’ve been friends with him since high school. He’s actually going to be one of Kyle’s best men at our wedding!

We arrived at the San Francisco Marriott at Fisherman’s Wharf, quickly checked in and set off on foot to find a place to grab dinner. We stopped at BurgerMeister on Columbus Ave. I ordered the Kobe Beef Steakhouse Salad, which as Kyle noted, was more steak than salad. The food came out in a timely manner, the drinks were self serve, the food tasted great and each menu item cost about $10. It’s a great little burger joint in the North Beach area, I recommend it as a dinner or lunch spot. Kyle ordered chicken strips with fries and Jon got a burger and fries. My salad was so large I grabbed a to go container and stashed it in the hotel fridge for a midnight snack that we all split later.

Delicious, heavenly plate-o-meat. There’s some greenery sticking out in places…see!

Once we were back at the hotel, dressed up for a night on the town. I’ll tell you all about that in a different post. Since Jon is a promoter for Groove International he set up appointments with venues to scout locations for potential future booking opportunities. While he did business, we got to scope out different parts of San Francisco night life. We visited five nightclubs in one night so that experience definitely deserves its own post!

All dressed up with LOTS of places to go!
