Never regret This post is difficult to write because I think most people like to live life without regrets. I don’t regret many things in my life–each decision and event helped shape me to become the person I am today. It also led to the place in life I am at today.

If I really had to dig deep and “delete” something from my life it would be moving in with my first serious adult boyfriend. I absolutely needed to move out of the apartment I lived in with my family, at the time our situation was not healthy for us as a family unit. Taking time away from them helped us rebuild our relationships with each other. Adult women just can’t be crammed together in one place for too long!

I just regret the time wasted with the wrong people

Anyway, back to the main topic. I shouldn’t have lived with him. I should have found a female college student to be my roommate. Living together caused the relationship to last much longer than it ever should have. I was too young, the relationship was too new for the seriousness of co-habitation. But it happened, and the experience allowed me to gain a mature perspective on relationships. The experience helped me to create a more secure and meaningful relationship with Kyle.

I can’t think of anything I would delete. I think of all the most painful things that happened and then I think on how they shaped my life. I may not be perfect, but I do like who I am, and all those experiences shaped me 😀

I LOVE IT… I can’t agree more! “Adult women just can’t be crammed together in one place for too long!”

This is the #1 reason I could NEVER co-habitate with my mother EVER AGAIN!

Yes, I am totally agreeing with this.. I lived with someone and wow…lol. I knew in the end I didn’t want to be with him, but things just happen. I am now married to the person that I wanted to be with way back then… Things just work themselves out I suppose! 🙂

I had a very similar experience with my first serious boyfriend that actually crossed my mind when this topic came up. But it really taught me a whole lot about love and life, so again, not a regret.

    Thanks for sharing!

Yes, I learned so much from that experience so I can’t truly call it a regret!

I think I’d be too afraid to delete much, for fear that it would change everything.
